Whether it be due to heavy earring wearing, an injury involving torn earlobe, or intentional stretching/gauging of the lobes, surgical repair can be conducted in order to transform earlobes to their natural shape and size.
What Does Earlobe
Repair Involve?
There are several techniques which can be used to repair tears or reduce the size of enlarged earlobes. This will depend on the current state of your earlobes and the goal you wish to achieve. For small tears and repairs, just the outer layer of skin on each side of the tear may be removed, allowing it to heal together with sutures or skin adhesive. For very stretched ears, excess skin will require surgical removal and a complete reshape of the earlobe. Your surgeon will work closely with you to determine your ideal shape and size to suit your preferences and complement your facial features.

Is It
Painful?
Your earlobe repair procedure will involve anaesthetic, the type of amount of which will be determined by the size and nature of your injury/stretching. Instances involving removal of stretched tissue will of course result in slightly more downtime, discomfort and sutures.
