You will be required not to smoke or vape for several weeks prior to your procedure. You may be given antibiotics prior to surgery. We recommend preparing an appropriate recovery room at home including bedding, ice packs and a thermometer, and a loved one should stay with you for 24 hours. You will be given compression garments to wear and must avoid strenuous activity or heavy lifting. You should expect your breasts to be swollen and bruised for around 2 weeks following your surgery.
