Both the in-clinic peel and the homecare products contain a range of high-grade, targeted ingredients to reduce pigmentation and prevent its recurrence. These pigment inhibiting ingredients include Azelaic Acid, Kojic Acid, Phytic Acid, Ascorbic Acid, Arbutine, Titanium Dioxide and Retinyl Palmitate. Just one in-clinic peel using Dermamelan can significantly reduce pigmentation and create a much more even complexion. However, a series of Dermamelan homecare products must be applied daily for several months following the in-clinic peel. This, in addition to daily sun protection, is the part of the process which prevents the pigmentation from recurring.
