Gone are the days of mole and skin tag removal requiring surgery and risk of scarring.
There are now advanced methods of non-surgical removal of skin tags and moles, our
choice of which is Surgitron RF.
What Is Surgitron?
Surgitron is an advanced device that utilises ultra-high-frequency technology to cut skin
tissues with fine precision, leaving extremely minimal damage to the surrounding tissue. This process is not only less damaging to the skin than traditional surgical incisions, but
leaves less (often zero) bruising, swelling, scarring or other complications, and quick
recovery time. It works on the principle of radio-vaporisation by attracting liquids to the
probes being used. These probes are used to slice flat across the base of the mole or
skin tag with intricate precision, removing the raised lesion and making it flush with the
skin. Numbing is applied prior, ensuring that there is minimal discomfort. Your downtime
is expected to last only a day or two days for skin tags, and around 5-7 days for moles
and larger skin abnormalities.
- Duration : 5-10 minutes or less. Local anaesthetic injection is administered prior which numbs the area completely
- Downtime : Minimal to none. Some scabbing is expected
- Aftercare :
- Avoid direct make up application on the wound until skin is intact (usually about 7 days)
- Avoid sweating and exercising for 24-48 hours
- No chemical/manual exfoliating or active skin directly on the wound for 14 days’ post procedure
- Frequency : One off treatment. Rarely, some moles may grow back in a few years at a slow rate which can be revised
- Cost : $350 | 1 lesion
- $550 | 2-3 lesions
- $750 | 4+ lesions
